Sixty years after the two international victories in the European Champion Clubs’ Cup, Garrafeira Benfica launches a special edition of Moscatel by José Maria da Fonseca, from the winning years 1961 and 1962, to celebrate six decades since the club from Luz became back-to-back European champions. Fashion designer Nuno Gama was responsible for the label and the special packaging that houses the wine, adding a touch of elegance to the case now being released to the market, with the consultancy of Martins Wine Advisor, from the renowned Setúbal-based winery.

Aroma: Deeply intense and penetrating, with notes of incense and exotic woods

Palate: Very fresh and spicy, surprisingly vibrant for a wine of this age

Color: Topaz

Aroma: Notes of coffee, hazelnut, dried fruits, candied orange peel, and a hint of cedar resin

Palate: Very firm and fresh on the palate, with a lingering presence that exceeds expectations and reflects the greatness of this wine
