High tempo: First training session at Benfica Campus
Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football squad held their first training session on the pitch on Tuesday, July 15, at Benfica Campus, as part of the 2025/26 preseason. The training session was marked by high competitive aggressiveness and intensity. See full information here.
Day 1 of a new journey
The 2025/26 preseason officially kicked off on Monday, July 14, with medical checks and physical tests between Hospital da Luz and Benfica Campus. In an atmosphere of reunions, renewed energy, and focus on what comes next, 28 players are present on this first day of work of Sport Lisboa e Benfica. Preparation will intensify on Tuesday, July 15, with the first pre-season training session scheduled for the morning, followed by another session in the afternoon at Benfica Campus.
Estádio da Luz even more impressive
The first phase of the capacity increase at Estádio da Luz has been completed! The Cathedral now has 68,100 seats, reinforcing its status as the largest and most impressive stadium in the country. More than just numbers, this growth means double the excitement: more voices, more color, more Benfica. In 2025/26, the eagle's nest will open its doors to even more fans, who will experience each game with intensity and passion alongside their families. Here, each seat is more than just a seat — it's a heart beating for our Club!
